Goat Island Games is a family-friendly celebration of outdoor recreation, community, and Cramerton pride! This multi-sport event features something for everyone—including running races, tournaments, fitness activities, live music, and more. Each year, the Games continue to grow, drawing participants and spectators from across the Carolinas.

New for 2026: America 250 Celebration
We are an official Gaston 250 event and this year’s Goat Island Games is proudly celebrating America’s 250th birthday! Our famous Goat Island goat logo will be decked out in patriotic style, and runners and participants are encouraged to join the fun by wearing patriotic attire on race day!

We’re also excited to once again be part of the Run Gaston Race Series!

Location
All events (except pickleball) take place on or around Goat Island Park, a beautiful 30-acre park nestled in the South Fork Catawba River, just steps from Downtown Cramerton.
