Exciting News! American Legion World Series Festival is Now Concert on the Corner!
After an extensive study of spending and attendance related to the ALWS Festival, it became evident that the concert was the primary draw for people to visit Uptown Shelby. Armed with these facts and a passion for the community, the American Legion World Series is returning to its roots, focusing on the concert and bringing a fantastic lineup of local, regional, and national entertainment for the night!
The spotlight will also be on the Uptown Shelby businesses, giving them the opportunity to shine and capitalize on the additional guests that the concert brings. We will line the streets with picnic tables and encourage all concertgoers to make it a night out, grabbing their favorite food from a local restaurant to enjoy in the streets (think Downtown Spartanburg)!
